Miscellaneous Art: Winged Centaurs
Nov 12, 1994
A winged centaur woman is surprised by the arrival of a winged centaur man.
This scene was inspired by the meeting of winged centaurs Chex and Cheiron in Vale of The Vole (1987) by Piers Anthony.
While I never wrote this story or illustrated more than a few isolated scenes, these characters -- their personalities and designs -- and their story formed the foundation of Sharpclaw without my noticing.
The female centaur is an early precursor of Galena Fleetfoot. I am not sure whether the male centaur has a readily identifiable corresponding Sharpclaw character.
