I have recently been coming across people who insist upon the false dichotomy of Left Brain versus Right Brain: that creative people cannot be logical and vice versa. As an artist and mathematics major, I find this notion as annoying as I find it disingenuous.

Here, a cold and calculating cat (I like alliteration) is unable to appreciate beauty because he is a mathematician.
